Io sono Andrea Favaro, un visual artist con forti contaminazioni dal mondo dei graffiti, urban e street art. La mia ricerca è basata su uno stile astratto e minimale, un mix di spray, colore acrilico e materiali insoliti, come il lattice liquido. In alcuni casi uso la calligrafia (tags), altre volte oggetti e texture da inserire nei dipinti.
"Retinal Fetish" si riferisce al film "Strange Days" e mira a suggerire a molte persone la mia visione estetica. I miei lavori possono essere girati a 360° creando nuove forme e punti di vista che spingono lo spettatore a cercare dettagli nascosti sotto i vari strati di colore.
My name's Andrea Favaro, I'm a visual artist whose works are strongly connected to the graffiti scene, as well as urban and street art. My research is based on an abstract and minimal style, a mix of spray, acrilics and unusual material, like liquid latex. Sometimes I use tags, objects or textures incorporated in the paintings. "Retinal Fetish" refers to the movie "Strange Days" and aims to suggest my aestethic vision to many people. My works can be turned upside down, thus creating new shapes and point of views inducing the spectator to look for new details hidden under the layers of colour.
